Peg vs. Meg vs. Margie

It’s a tradition to name first girl in the family of each generation Margret. Great grandma is Margret NN Peggy. Grandma’s NN is Maggie. Mom’s NN is Greta. So...for ours, not many NN left. What is your favorite from the ones above? Also please suggest middle names.(Last name: Collins) Thanks.

I have an aunt Margret nn Midge out of yours my favorite is Margie
I’d say Margret Claire, Margret Elaine, Margret Jane, or Margret Elise

This must be a common tradition because I’ve seen several other polls on here that have the name Margaret for the first daughter that has been passed down from generations.:) GL

Hadn’t ever thought of Mae, but like it as an option. Also really like the middle name suggestions of Giselle and Noelle.
It’s interesting to hear that this is a tradition with other families. Although I think most spell it Margaret. Our Margret spelling seems less common.
