I also think you should go with Gwyneth so she can decide whether she wants to be called Gwen or Gwyneth.

Just a side note: Gwen is a name in its own right in Welsh. It’s not just a nickname for Gwendolen, Gwyneth, etc.

It can be a nn, of course. And options are always nice. But don’t think you’re short selling your daughter if you use Gwen on its own. :0)
