Maude Afton gmv. What a wonderfully unexpected combination of names. It shouldn’t work -- but it really does. I picture English country gardens and thatched cottages. I’m off to brew some tea . . . Good luck! :0)

Oh thank you, poster three. You’ve made my day! Maude Afton has always been the name I loved most. In another poll others suggested we might need a different middle name, but everything you said is just exactly why I love this name so much. Hurray! You’ve restored my faith in my own judgment. I think I’ll stick with my first love and go with Maude Afton!

Thank you so much poster seven! You and FredaCat have been a ray of sunshine! Yes, gardens and cottages and cozy pots of tea. That’s what I picture when I think of Maude Afton, so I guess it has always been MY cup of tea when it comes to names. :) I am excited to use it now. You’ve helped me realize how much I really do love it! Thank you SO much!
