Greek Names For vs. Both Genders vs. Suggestions Needed Please!

My husband and I have a little girl named Athena Brigid(3) and we are due to bring baby #2 into the world in January! We love Greek names and want this baby to have a Greek first name like Athena does. We would really appreciate it if you all could suggest some Greek names for each gender(besides the typical mythology related names but you can include some of those too)! We have Calum picked out for a boy middle name and Lauren picked out for a girl middle name so we want the names to sound good with those. We didn’t get much response on my first poll from yesterday so please suggest as many Greek names as you can! Thanks again! ~Angela&Marcus

We like Perseus and Persephone but don’t think they go very well with Calum and Lauren. Alexander, Melissa and Zoe sound too American for us. We prefer names that sound Greek or more foreign, even though Athena is very well known and "sounds a bit more American" according to some. Basically we want Greek names that are less heard in America. Sorry for not being that specific in the description! Thanks though! ~Angela&Marcus

We also like Ariadne Lauren(though we don’t like Aria), Phaedra Lauren, Thais Lauren, and Adonis Calum! Penelope, Iris, and Nico are too "American" sounding to us. Thanks! ~Angela&Marcus

Meraki. It’s a Greek word that means "to do something so passionately it’s as if you put your own soul or self into it". Basically. :)

Ooh Andromeda’s pretty. And Andi could be a cute nickname. Idk how you’d feel about Artemis Lauren but I thought I’d throw that one in anyway. I think it’s nice but I feel like for some people it’s an acquired taste.

We don’t really like Meraki as a name. I love the meaning of it but I don’t really like it as a name. Thanks for that suggestion though! ~Angela&Marcus

I think Artemis would be the perfect sister for Athena.

We love Andromeda nn Andi! Do you think Andromeda is too close to Athena in sound though? My husband is a little concerned about that. We also like Calista Lauren and Ares Calum! My husband isn’t a huge fan of Artemis. Thanks! ~Angela&Marcus

I think Athena and Andromeda/Andi sound fine together. And if it’s a boy and you name him AIR-eez, I’d spell it Aries instead of Ares. Aries, meaning "ram", is the first astrological sign in the zodiac and is a symbol based on the flying ram that provided the Golden Fleece. Ares, on the other hand, is the god of war.

If it’s a boy, Theseus Calum nn Theo? I’d suggest Odysseus because I think it sounds absolutely GORGEOUS, but unfortunately its meaning isn’t exactly attractive.
