What do you guys think of the name Heidi? My husband and I had always talked about naming our first little girl Abigail, but now that I’m pregnant, the name Heidi keeps popping up in my head. Hubby isnt agaisnt it, he just thinks it’s really random. What do you guys think, is it cute or is it "old lady"? Thanks for your input!! Amber and Brad

I prefer Heidi over Abigail. Mainly because Abigail was more popular in like the 1990s and early 2000s and Heidi has always been more under the radar. Plus I just think that Heidi is so much prettier! I don’t think it’s an old lady name at all. Heidi Abigail would make an adorable full name!

I love Heidi, it’s sweet classic and unique. I plan to use this name for another girl, I have an Isabelle and a Calvin. Here are some mns I’ve considered:

Heidi is french for nobility. I was blessed with twins and named them Sadie Evangeline and Heidi Vivienne. Everyone went gaga over the names. Heidi has always been our first choice. It’s very elegant and you should go with it! :)

Heidi’s okay. I like that it’s different, but it’s not my favorite sounding name.
