Solen as a middle name vs. Like it vs. Hate it

My husband and I want to use Solen as a middle name for our son. His grandfather’s name was Solomon called Sol but we don’t like those names. People don’t seem to like Solen so are there any other suggestions. Please help! We like Greir for the first name. Thank you!
