Adriana vs. WDYT?
I posted about this name before but didn’t get much response so I’ll re-post it.
So what does everyone feel about the name? I’ve been told it’s "too much of a mouthful" or it’s too "fancy" but I don’t really think so. I’m just looking for other people’s perceptions of the name - even if you don’t like it! Share your thoughts - all are welcome :)

I’m sorry, but I personally really don’t like the name. I agree with others, it sounds a little pretentious to me. I also group it in the category of names that have the really popular and really unoriginal characteristic of having -ana thrown on to the end of it (Liliana, Leana, Milana, Alana, Giana, Viviana, Deana, Illiana, Kiana, etc). While Adrienne is pretty, Adriana sounds like the knock-off version of it.

I think it’s fine as a name. Personally I don’t like it that much because I don’t really like any ’Adria-’ or ’Andrea’ names. But that is entirely my personal opinion - the name itself is perfectly fine and if you love it then you should use it.

Adriana is a very pretty name! I really like it. I know a lot of people with the same though. And my friend, Adriana, always gets her name misspelled as Adrianna.

I think it’s lovely and I like Classy names. I also like Adrienne. I think the number of responses might depend on the time of day you post and what time it is in America, not that I’m in America.

What’s wrong with it being fancy? Who wants a dull name or dull kid.
But....a bit overused. People probably did not respond because it is one of those names you see so much that its like obvious you can not go wrong with it.
