Landon david vs. josiah david

My daughter and her boyfriend are having a very hard time naming their 2 day old son. they have had these two back and forth for a while. But he will not budge. she was willing to go with josiah and then just really doesn’t want to. The baby will be called joe most probably and joe Boyle just doesn’t sound good. She loves Landon. Please help with this!!

I dont like either name but a good thing to do would be to use both names, Landon Joseph or Joseph Landon.

I think Josiah is great, and not as popular as Landon. You dont have to call him Joe. Josiah is fine on its own. How about naming him David Josiah?

Landon Josiah Boyle. That way they’re both happy. I don’t think anyone should have to name their child a name they really dislike.
