that will get pronounced wrong...any time I’ve seen the name Merced, it’s pronounced Mer-said....not Mercied

i agree- the Merced is even a river and city and is said Mer-said...no one will know that you pronounce it differently than usual and you’ll have to always correct them, but I guess it’s not the biggest deal if she will go by Mercy

Mercy Rose as is. I wouldn’t make it short for anything or it looks a little odd IMHO.
