i know the original is pronounced that way. Its also
a boy name. To make it feminine I like the way it sounds. It’s after the Irish saint of animals. I am planning to pair it with Elizabeth.

I like the name with either way it is pronounced. Also, in responce to the previous comment, you can chose to pronounce it any way you like. It is your child.
A site that I found helpful in assuring the name is unique is the social security name site. On this site you can search to see hoe popular any given name has been in the past 5, 10, 20, etc.. years.
Good luck on finding the perfect name.

Maybe Saoirse? (Seer-sha)
I have heard maybe not this name but a similar name on a boy. I don’t like it at all for a girl. I just don’t find it feminine or attractive. Saiorse is a nice suggestion. I like Ciara/Sierra more. I also don’t like it pronounced a different way. She’ll just be pronouncing it for everyone her whole life and that gets annoying. Siriah is another name I’ve heard, or even Siri.
I wouldn’t change the pronunciation, that is just asking for trouble IMO. I also like Saoirse; it means Freedom. GL!!
