Full name for Livvy/Livie vs. Just use Livvy/Livie

I adore the nickname Livvy/Livie but I can’t find a full name I like. I despise Olivia, Olive is unusable, Liviana is not my style, and Lavinia or Liv are cute but I’m not sure I can see myself actually using them. Part of me would love to just name her Livvy/Livie (not sure if I like the double V. Livie is something I just thought up) but I don’t think it will age well. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

A bit of a stretch-- but maybe Evelyn?

I like Livia but worry it’s too close to the way overused Olivia. That’s also my problem with Evelyn although it’s just starting to get popular.

I say just use livy/Livie(however you want to spell it)

We named our daughter Livy Brielle. She just turned 4 and when she was born there were 3 Olivia’s in our neighborhood and we really didn’t like any other full name for the nn Livy. We love her name and have never regretted not using Olivia, Olive etc. GL

Don’t use just Livvy/Livie. She will never be taken seriously in a grown up, professional environment. Lavinia would be gorgeous! It’s so underused and so beautiful!

Or there is
Oliviana
Lavina
Liviette
Livielle
Livianne
Aliviana

I would go with Livy/Livie and if she wants to go with a more mature sounding name when she get’s older she could just go by Liv. Or you could name her Liv and nn her Livy/Livie.

I agree that it’s tough to take an adult with a childish nickname seriously. Give her a full name even if you don’t use it much. It’s best to have one for resumes and such.

Livia or Livie is prettier than any of the full names IMO. My full name is Sylvie not Sylvia and I’ve never had an "issue on a resume" etc.

Sylvie is a legit full name. It’s the French form of Sylvia. That’s not really comparable to Livvie.

Liv by itself is actually a full name so I’d say use that as it could be a nickname for Livie/Livvy btw I like the spelling "Livi" and it’s not even underlined in red when I spell it

I had a college classmate (so she’d probably be about 30 now) whose name was Lyvie, pronounced the same as Livvy. That was her full name, not a nickname. I assure you she was taken seriously and no one hassled her about her name, at least in that setting. (I can’t speak to her younger years since I didn’t know her then.) I don’t really like Livvy or Olivia or any related name, but if you love the name, you can definitely use it. You don’t have to find a "full name" for it.
