Matthew Scott vs. Scott Matthew

We are having our first baby, a boy, in February. We want to name him after grandpas and are thinking of using their middle names. My dad’s middle name is Scott and my father in law’s middle name is Matt. We’re thinking either Scott Matthew or Matthew Scott. What do you think? Our last name is four letters, one syllable and ends in the letter S. Thanks- Gary and Colleen.

While Matthew Scott has a better flow, I prefer Scott as a first name.

I love both names either way around but agree Matthew Scott flows better.
