Finley/Finleigh vs. Oakley/Oakleigh

We know that our baby girl will either be named Finley/Finleigh or Oakley/Oakleigh Raine but not on the spellings... I want the -ley endings, my husband wants the -leigh spellings, which I personally think makes the name look ridiculous but I feel bad because her middle name will be Ann after my mother and his mother isn’t named after. Help! Her older sister is Aubree Nicole. Thank you!

Finley is okay with this spelling. Oakley is horrid with any spelling.

Finley gets my vote it’s actually 223 for girls well being at 374 for boys right now so becoming more popular. I wouldn’t give her the head ache of always having to spell it Oakly on the the other hand ranks higher for boys s 657 for boys 768 for girls.

I think the -leigh spelling looks a little childish. I think Oakley is an ok name for a boy, but not at all for a girl. I do actually know more dogs than kids named Oakley, but I can see it for a boy. As for Finley...I can’t say it’s too appealing IMO for a girl, but I think it can work. Definitely Finley for the spelling, if you use it.
