I think nev would be a cute nn.
I like the name Neveah, a friend of mine named her daughter Arora Neveah, they call her Rori. But you could use Neveah and call her Neve for a nn.

It doesn’t look like it should be pronounced that way but I think it is....kind of pretty

Neve is pronounced "Nev", however, Niamh is pronounced "Neev." Niamh is a traditional Irish name. Good luck!
