Lachlan Trace vs. Xander

I just need help!! I found Lachlan and fell in love with that name but the middle name i’m having a whole lot of trouble with...I found Trace for the middle name and i Love it too...but (other than my sister who loves everything scottish) I haven’t been getting very good feed back on the name...my baby’s dad said that if i named him that I couldn’t use his last name!!! Ideas would be great!!

I love Lachlan...I almost named my daughter Lochlann even tho its a boys name...lol....I think its a great name u could call him lock for short....I also love Scottish(and even Irish) names! My sons name is Aidan and my daughter is Colleen. How about Lachlan Cameron or Morgan? Boyd? James? Callum? Ross? Liam? Finn? and one of my personal faves and my sons mn(its Irish tho) Eoin(pron:Owen).....like anything? Lachlan is a hard one for a mn lol but its really cute!

use the fathers name as the middle name

I like Lachlan better than Xander as a first name. Lachlan Xander would be nice.

I like Lachlan, but don’t care for Trace personally. Since Lachlan is an original name, I would pair it with something a little more common.

My first son is already named after his daddy and gpa so i don’t think that’ll work!! Thanks for all the suggestions!!!

i think Xander is a better name than Lachlan or Trace, what about

Xander Grant
Xander Hayden
