Well, I do like the way you have spelled both names correctly. And I like the way they don’t start with the same letter. I guess I’m not really fond of matchy-twin names, though. I mean, I like them to sound as if they are from the same family (like you wouldn’t want to do Cheyenne and Marie-Francoise) but the way they’re both cities and both have the "ann" sound in them kind of bugs me. I can’t think of what I would choose to go with Cheyenne instead, though.

I love Savannah, but I don’t think Cheyenne goes with it very well. They are just two totally different styles.

What about Savannah and Carolina?

Maybe Cheyenne and Sierra. That’s not as matchy as both of them being cities, and it gets both of them more in the same quadrant of the country. And the names don’t both have the "ann" sound in them.

I think they sound okay but are differenty syles. I like Cheyenne best.

I have a hard enough time picking THE one baby name, can’t imagine having to pick 2 at once! I like that you are not making them too matchy.

I love Savannah, but I really, really don’t like Cheyenne. I think Cheyenne is a little trashy or sounding. I’m not trying to be unkind...I’m just giving my honest opinion about the name. Savannah would be so much nicer paired with another name.
