like Mara, but just so you know, most people will pronounce it MAHR-UH, not the way you would like it. Really.

I like Loreley. Mara means "bitter," and I wouldn’t want to name my child something that had a negative meaning. I like the spelling Lorelei or Lorelai better. Lorelei Jane is cute.
Or:
Lorelei Celeste
Lorelei Diane
Lorelei Jade
Lorelei Sophia
Lorelei Claire
Lorelei Mae

What do you think?

to us lorelei looks like it’s misspelled or missing a letter on the end. It just doesn’t look complete!

Loreley Claire is cute. I would choose a shorter mn to go Loreley since it’s a longer name. Loreley Claire, Loreley Kate, Loreley Mae, Loreley Faith, Loreley Hope. What do you think?

I don’t understand your pronuciation of Mara. Do you mean what other posters are saying as Mahr-uh? or Mare-uh? Loreley looks like it is said Laura-ley not Laura-lie.

people will pronounce Loreley Lore-ell-ee. it would be better to specify the -ie sound rather than an -ee sound
