Ever since I was a little girl I have wanted to name my first daughter Sydney. My husband likes it, but doesn’t love it yet. What are your honest opinions? Suggestions? We have one son, Declan Marshall

Sydney is alright. Makes me think of Australia. It also seems to have had a particular time frame when it was more common (maybe 15ish yrs ago) but haven’t really heard it as much recently.

I know it used to be for males but every Sydney that I have met has been beautiful and kind, something I wish my daughter to be. Sydney, Australia is also a favorite city of mine. We love Cassidy, thanks!!

Cindy which could be short for Cynthia or Lucinda.
