It’s for a boy and it’s pronounced "KEE-ran".
And I do realise Ciaran is the Irish spelling, but I wouldn’t call it the RIGHT one.

Kieran will be easier for people to know how to pronounce, but I do like Ciaran better...

Yes, that’s why we’re considering Kieran. We’ve had plenty of people asking how to pronounce Ciaran.
