Lucas River is the best of the three. River Hunter sounds too violent, as if he’s someone who hunts the river (like a deer hunter or a moose hunter). Not really a fan of the name Hunter anyway because it’s too little-boyish and won’t age well. River is a little better, although somewhat hippy sounding.

I love the name Lake on boys! But none of your other names go well with it as a middle name. Lake Thomas or Lake Ezra would be very handsome!

I really like Hunter (which doesn’t sound violent at all, imo) but I don’t think it goes well with River since they both end in -er. River Lucas would be great, though.

like Lucas. River is best of the middle name options. dislike Hunter as it sounds rather violent to me (though I know the name is popular and it wouldn’t come across that way to everyone).
