I really like Brynn (this spelling) as a girl’s name but I could never imagine it on a boy.

I like it for a girl, I think if you live in the States it would be a hard name for a boy to pull off.

It cracks me up how people in America take names from other countries that are strictly masculine and not even considered for girls and say oh this is great for a girl, you can’t use it on a boy that’s ridiculous. It just doesn’t make sense to me at all. While universally this name would be considered unisex because Americans have used it mostly for girls if they researched the name they would find that it is of Welsh origin and it is a boys name and only a boys name in Wales. Just something to keep in mind. The rule seems to be that it’s your child, name it what you want except you can’t use this, this, or this.

Bryn is a wonderful name for a boy or a girl, but I find it particularly nice for a boy, but not everyone cares or considers the history and origin of names they just like the sound.

Brynn is all girl to me.
Brynn for a girl and Flynn for a boy?

I have only known girls with this name (I’m in the US). Personally I don’t really like the sound of it for either gender.

I like Brynn well enough for a girl. I think it has become quite feminized in the US, so I probably wouldn’t use it for a boy, but that doesn’t mean it wouldn’t work. I think for a boy I would use Bryn though.
