Do vs. Jackson & Amelia vs. fit okay with siblings?

I’m the person who made the poll about ’naming style’ and sibling names matching. We are considering Jackson for a boy and Amelia for a girl. Can you please let me know if these names fit okay with our older children: Carys(17), McArthur(15), Costello(14), and Jessamine(11). All four have pretty uncommon names (though the girls’ names are becoming more common now), and Amelia and Jackson are just SO COMMON right now in comparison. Does that matter? If you think it does matter, do you have any suggestions for names that would fit better?

I personally think Amelia pairs well with Carys & Jessamine; and yes it is very popular at the moment.
Jackson on the other hand doesn’t pair as well with McArthur & Costello but it’s still a handsome name.

Honestly, I already see 2 patterns. Carys and Jessamine are simply uncommon, although heard-of, girls names. McArthur and Costello are completely surnames.

Amelia would fit into the girls names well enough. It’s common, but not overly so, like Emma, Olivia or Charlotte.

Jackson, although common, is also completely a surname. It is an elongated form of the nickname Jack (for John), rather than the "full name" for Jack, so I think it fits. It may not fit completely, but it’s not the exact opposite either.

Perhaps go for Jacques (pron. like Jack) and Amalia (Am-ah-li-ah/Am-ay-li-ah) or perhaps Alexia (A-lex-ee-yah)? GL!

I think Amelia is perfectly fine with the other names.

As for Jackson...I don’t know how to word this. I personally like the name Jack. I don’t like that Jackson is becoming more popular. That being said, I can’t think of any name that would fit well with your boys’ names that I actually like. So sticking with Jackson, I guess, gets my vote.

Also, pp, Jacques is not the same as Jack.
