I like Sophia Evelyn. Would that be O.K or does Evelyn have to be the first name?

Well, I like the name Sophia but I think I like Evelyn or Lillian a little better, but I do like Sophia Evelyn. Seems like Evelyn gets a mixed response, with some people thinking it’s up-an-coming and has a cute nn Evie, and others thinking it’s too old ladyish.

Lillian Genevieve is a bit much.
I like the sound of Evelyn Sophia. Plus the advantage with this name is that she wont be 1 of 5 Lilys or Sophias in school. BWT, I find the nn Evie to be darling!

Oh, and though I love both Lillian and Evelyn, I don’t care for the doube "an" sounds together, so that’s not my favorite. Thanks though!

I definitely like Lillian better than Evelyn (Evelyn does sound old to me). It is nice the way your have it or as Lillian Sophia.
Thanks, that is one of my concerns. Both Lillian/Lily and Sophia are super popular, and I know at least one of each in my neighborhood already... then again, I kind of just want to pick a name based on the sound and style, and not be overly concerned about popularity. See why I’m stuck? :)

Lillian isnt as common as lily, and you could always find a different nick name, like Lilla , Lil (like from rugrats) or name her Lillianna and call her Anna
I think Lillian Sophia Evelyn sounds great.

Oh, I hadn’t thought about doing two middle names! Hmmm... that’s really pretty.
Also, what do you think about using Lila/Lilah as a nn for Lillian instead of Lily?

I like pp’s suggestion of Lillianna. I personally like Lillianna Genevieve. The "na" helps set up for the longer mn and helps it flow better. I am pronouncing Lillianna as Lil-lee-awn-na. nn could be lily, anna, evie or even Lianna and would not be as popular
I can see why you are stuck - They are both great names. I voted Evelyn b/c I love that name & we couldn’t use it for our daughters. Also if you have a long ln, I think Lillian Genevieve may be too long. Beautiful though!

i like Evelyn Genevieve, Lillian is very popular atm, so personally i wouldn’t want to use it, as is Sophia really, i prefer the spelling Sofia, if you want to make it a bit more unique, i love the 2 middle names idea, i’d go with Evelyn Genevieve Sofia, another spelling for Evelyn i like Evelyne
