Mckenna means "son of Kenneth." I’d definitely avoid that one. It also sounds dated, from the Mc/Mac/Ken fad that was so populara decade ago.

I’m really not a fan of McKenna - far too masculine and Ken is not a nice name for a girl, further as the first poster pointed out it literally meant "Son of Ken".
Alana is beautiful and underused. Not sure if you are open to mixing them but Alana Lynn is very repetitive on the L sound and they do not flow very well together.

Alana is very nice and elegant. Mckenna is more of a last name and it’s horribly trendy to give your kid a "mc" name nowadays.
