I never really liked the idea either, but then I met my husband who has the "J" tradition, and it’s grown on me. We only have 2 children, Jarrett and Jaime, but all I ever consider are J names.

You forgot the baby - Jennifer. The thing I don’t like is that some of the names are too similar, like Johanna and Joy-Anna. Where did they get Joy-Anna?

My dad and his siblings all have J names. John, Jim, Jeannine, Joe, Jeff, Jerry, and Jay. They all have full names, but that’s just how I was taught to recite it and I can’t get them all in order any other way. Haha. I think it’s kinda cute when they’re kids, but ridiculous when they’re grown. It’s also confusing.
