Riley Weston is very handsome!

Just hearing Riley I’d assume girl. Why would you give a boy a name that is in the top 50 for girls? Sure it was once a boys name but so was Courtney and Lindsay and we’d never subject a boy to those names these days...

Riley is an awesome boy name. It’s in the top 200 for boys, so it’s hardly in the same category as Courtney and Lindsay. Besides, it’s not 1970 anymore. Just because a boy name gets popular on girls doesn’t mean people stop using it for boys anymore. Partially because gender perceptions have changed and partially because parents of boys would be left with no options if they abandon every name that girls started to use. But lots of boy names are more popular on girl and continue to rise in popularity on boys. Avery and Emerson are the two that come most easily to mind, but I know I saw a list of them somewhere.

In regard to the poster’s actual question, I think Riley Weston is nicest but they’re both fine.
