Eamon rhymes with Sea-mon. I’m not a fan, sorry!

No, it doesn’t. It’s AIM in. Can you not read?

I knew a kid in college named Eamonn with two ns. We pronounced it like a-men (amen), which is what I suspect people will say with your son. I have also heard the name pronounce ee-mun.

Eamon is so, so handsome. It’s one of my favorite Irish male names. I prefer the double N spelling to signal that it is not going to follow normal English pronunciation. But Eamon is nice too. And yes, it’s "AIM-in / AY-mun." It’s getting more well known and worth a correction or two.

Eamon Giles is inspired. Great combo. Eamon Lysander too. Caddock isn’t flowing as well with Eamon to my ears. Caradog (kah-RA-duk") or Carrick would. ( http://www.behindthename.com/name/carrick/submitted .)

Love Kieran Sylvester, by the way. Good luck! :0)
