That name looks like a train wreck. If you want to name your child that, spell it properly -- Rylan. Otherwise, she’ll forever be correcting people, not to mention having to clarify her gender (but that’s a different story).

Poster 2 again. If it’s pronounced like Riley, with the long I sound, then maybe the spelling Rylin would be more straightforward.

I get that this name has some meaning to you, but seriously, consider it for a middle name, especially if you refuse to change the spelling. Seriously.

My niece’s name is spelled Rielynn. I believe your Rilynn would be the same pronunciation, similar to the boy’s name Rylan, with a long I sound. I think the Rilynn spelling is fine.
