Jordan Harrison vs. Variations

My husband and I have three children, Ruby Camille, Robert Gregory, and Sawyer King. All of these names are family names except Sawyer, which has just always been a favorite of mine. My husband and I just finalized the adoption of a baby boy. We were struggling with names, and we have two family members we could name after, grandfathers Joe and Harry. We couldn’t find something to agree on until someone suggested Jordan Harrison today. We know we definitely want to give him a family name since our other children all have one, but we can’t use Joseph, Josiah, Harold, or Harlan. We’re not fully in love with Jordan Harrison, mostly due to my thinking that Jordan is a little too trendy in comparison to Ruby, Rob, and Sawyer. Please help!

Joel would be adorable and fits with Ruby, Robert and Sawyer. Joel Harrison is so handsome. Hayes Jonah or Perry Joseph would be cute too.

We absolutely love Harrison Joel. So much we’ve decided its the perfect name. Thank you all so much, I didn’t know it would be that easy to find a name!

Harry is the dimunitive of Henry--would you consider Henry? Hank is also a nn of Henry. Enzo is an Italian form of Henry.

Jonathan, Jorah (especially fun if a GoT fan), Joss, and Joshua are other names that start with Jo- that might be close enough. Or you could stick with Joe or Joseph as a middle name.

Also, do Joe and Harry have middle names or nick names you can play with?
