IDK why, but I’m kinda liking it too :) Maybe its my pregnant hormones talking too, though...It is definitely different, but NN Indy is cute. I like Indiana James--the common middle name kind of balances out the uniqueness of the first name. GL :)

I don’t mean to be rude but I know a dog named Indiana and one named Indy. It’s a really cute name, but I’m not to fond of it. Too much teasing potential- Indiana Jones (lets face it, by the time the child gets older there will probably be more movies), the state of Indiana, Indianapolis Speedway, Indy 500. If you like it, then that is your choice, I am just giving an outsiders opinion.

Im sorry but i dont think you should name your child that...imagine all of the teasing he or she will get...you can name her Deanna...its still indiana but without the IN part!

Indiana and Blake are two of my favourite names! so Indiana Blake gmv, i think it’s really cool especially with the nn Indy CUTE! i have however scratched both Indiana and Blake off my list because although i really like them i don’t think they’d go down well (i live in England), and this is for a boy right? even though i think it would be okay for a girl too

I’m due in August and I’ve also been in two minds about the name Indiana.
I love it but it seems to be quite the marmite name (you either love it or hate it!)
But we’ve decided we’re going to stick with calling our son Indiana James because we like it!!
James is a family name and was kinda forced upon me though, It sounds a bit too close to Jones for my liking but nobody ever really cares about middle names!
