I love it!
I think it’s a strong name that will never go out of style.
Plus if you like nicknames it gives you options.You can stick with the classic Alex or if you do feel like you want something more modern/trendy you could call him Xander.

I love the name Alexander - its strong, handsome, and anything but boring if you ask me. Michael is a nice name, it’s not my favorite but it goes nicely with Alexander (and I especially love it if it honors family).

I’ve always loved the name Alexander - it has so many nickname potentials which can really change the feel of the name - Alex, Alec, Allie, Xander, Ander, Andy etc. Michael is nice, I don’t love it but it’s a perfectly strong and handsome name.

perfectly elegant, classic and strong - classics have staying power and are NEVER boring, they are classics because they are loved and endure through generations - boring things are fad names that come and go
