Schuyler Claire vs. Schuyler Eleanor

Hi everyone! We posted lat last night trying to narrow down our list of middle names for our daughter. Her first name is set in stone as Schuyler, from our family tree. For those who are unaware, it is the original spelling of Skyler/Skylar and the pronunciation is the same. Which middle name do you prefer with it?

Ahhh! My youngest daughter is named Schuyler Davina. I absolutely adore Schuyler Eleanor.

Schuyler is the original spelling which most people already know. I doubt the posters daughter will run into any pronunciation problems. I think Schuyler Claire is very pretty. Good luck!

As we said, the name and spelling are set in stone. If you do not like any, then you do not have to vote poster 1, but we are not looking for suggestions. Thank you though.

I had Davina on my short list of first names poster 2! I had never thought of pairing it with Schuyler, but your daughter’s name is gorgeous! Thank you poster 3!

Schuyler is derived from the dutch surname and as other posters have already said, it is the original spelling. Skyler and Skylar are made up versions of the name. My 32 year old brother is named Skyler and when he was a child his teachers would often misspell his name as Schuyler because it was a fairly new name at the time (first name and most common on boys). Funny how times have changed.

Schuyler Claire gets my vote. Good Luck!
