Just go for Juliet, the extra L makes it confusing. But Juliet is beautiful!

No, I would advise against using Juillet. If you live in the US no one would pronounce it properly ("zhoo-ee-ay") and some others would think it was a "unique" spelling of Juliet and pronounce it like that name.

I think people will mistake it for Juliet a lot. I also think themes are a [removed]eesy for sibling names, especially blatant ones.

Would you use the French pronunciation? I think she would be constantly correcting people. Juliet would be easier.

We live in Quebec so pronunciation would not be a big problem.

I wouldn’t name a daughter Juillet (July) when your son is Augustus Lane. It seems kind of cheesy next to his name. His name has so much history and depth and your daughter deserves a name that matches it. Does anyone in Quebec use this word as a name?

Personally, I don’t find it "cool". The sound of it just isn’t attractive.

It’s not used much as a name in Quebec

I would just go with Juliet. Or, if you wanted a bit of a less literal theme - how about Octavia? It means 8, August is the 8th month of the year....Augustus and Octavia are lovely together! Both very Roman. And, in fact, Emperor Augustus’s sister was named Octavia.

You could think about Junia - means born in June

No ome will ever say or spell Juillet correctly. What about Avril(April in French), Mai(May in French), or Junio(June in Spanish). Or maybe Juno, Junie, or Julie because they sound similar to June and July?

And here’s my opportunity to slip in a personal favorite: Janvière. Since you live in Quebec it might even be pronounced correctly. Good luck! :0)

I voted yes as I like it and think its really pretty - and if you live in a French speaking area then my two initial thoughts that people will mispronounce it and/or mistake it for Juliet aren’t valid

I don’t like Juillet with Augustus. Mai, Juno, Junie, Junia, Juniper, or Avril would be better to me.
