Popularity means a lot to me, sorry.
In my opinion, common usage makes a name ugly; I would want my children to have their own identity and not have to share it with four other people in their class.
If I really *had* to pick one, though, it would be Madeline.

i think the opposite of the comment above !
i think that if so many people have used it it means that its a beautiful name ! where as a unique name thats never been used before is ugly!!!

Why not get the best of all 3? Change Emily to Emmalyn (or however you wish to spell it) and use May as the MN

i like the other too but it’s just that they’re popular that puts me off, Emily is close to Emma which i hate because it reminds me of a person i hate, so that just puts me off the name altogether and i prefer Madeleine to Madelyn because it’s less trendy, i don’t like Leah or Emmalynn
