I love it. Don’t let people tell you it’s only a boys name the two blakes I’ve met are both girls one is 15 and one is her 30s so it’s not trendy or new and don’t let people discourage you

I don’t like it for either gender but I’ve only known boys with the name. It just doesn’t have a nice sound to me and is very masculine.

I love it. I agree with poster 2, don’t let people tell you it’s just a boy name. You could say that about SO many names these days. Who says you have to give a girl a super girly frilly name? What about Blake Lively? It’s totally great on her. Everyone has very different opinions on names and You just have to go with your gut or you’ll regret it.
