What do you think of these names for our future children. (We’re planning ahead). We also prefer proper first names so they can use them later in life.

Alfred "Freddie" James Applegate, (i refuse to name him Frederick it’s so old and i already have a Rick and my Dad is Derek so that limits the nns for him)
Samuel "Sam" Geoffrey Applegate
Thomas "Tom" William Applegate
GIRLS
Emily Louise Applegate
Lucy Irene Applegate
That’s it so far.
NAMES ARE NOT TO BE CHANGED (I like them the way they are, i just want your opinion, are they good sibling names, are they good combinations)
I do need a cute but traditional name to go with the mn Julie. Something like Meredith Julie but not quite as old fashioned and nothing too common like Maddison (my cousins name) or Mackenzie.

Alfred is by far more dated than Frederick.

Reminiscent of Agatha Trunchball from Matilda. I appreciate the effort though it doesn’t really go with the rest of the names.

Madison is certainly not more popular than Emily. Look at the top ten baby names. I think you’re names are very boring actually. And my friend mike’s middle name is albert and he still gets teased about it all the time and hates it.
