I think if Kateri has a deep, religious connection for you, you should use it. It is unique, and has the sweet option of Kat as a nickname

I used to like Kateri too, but then I found out it isn’t pronounced how I thought it was...The K in the Mohawk language is pronounced as a G, instead of a K, the T usually makes a D sound and R as L. The proper pronunciation is Gah-deh-lee...so if you want Kat or Katie as a nickname, you probably shouldn’t use Kateri. Google ’Kateri’ pronunciation.
