Larissa nn Lissa vs. Lissa vs. No, it’s a horrible name

We love the nickname Lissa (Lis-sa ). However, I don’t like any names with Lissa in them. We ruled out Melissa and Alyssa. We like Larissa, but I’m not sold on it. Would you go with the full name and have a nickname or just use the nickname as the name? Or should we not use it at all?

The Larissa I know pronounces it la-reese-ah not la-ris-ah so not sure Lissa works for it.

What about Clarissa...with nickname Lissa?

Yes it works. I’d give her a full name and have Lissa as the nickname so she can go by either when she’s grown up :)
