Girl vs. Suggestions vs. Please!

Hi there! We had a list that we posted last night but we’ve been looking over our girl names and we just are really falling in love with any of them. We actually have been able to narrow it down to 2 boy names, thankfully! If you haven’t seen our polls, we are trying to continue our accidental theme of nicknames ending in "Y" (possibly looking into forms of the spelling such as "ie", "ee", "i" and so on). Do you have any suggestions that go with Emanuel "Manny", Valentin "Lenny", and Antonio "Tony"? We have decided that we do not want to repeat and first/nickname initials! Thanks!

Josephine was actually on our former list! We do like Genevieve a lot, more so leaning towards Evie as a nickname rather than Jenny. We also like Penelope a lot

Please make sure that when you suggest names, they have options for nicknames that end with Y (or similar sound)

We aren’t really finding any that we really like, sorry. We kind of like Rosalie but not sure

For full names that send with ’y’ or a variation thereof, how about:

Chelsea (has the sound, but not the spelling)
Carly
Molly
Hayley

For names with nicknames ending in ’y’ or a variation thereof, how about:
Francesca (Franny)
Stasia (Stacy)
Megan (Maggie)
Olivia (Ollie)

The full name doesn’t have to end in the Y sound, but the nickname does! The names absolutely have to have nickname options or we won’t consider them and they cannot start with the same initial (or nickname initial) as the boys. Hope that makes a little more sense.

We like Gwendolyn!

Manny, Lenny, Tony and Dolly (NN for Delores)
Manny, Lenny, Tony and Winny (for Winifred)
posted by guest :: 7 years ago | report
We like Winny! We have to decide if we like Winifred or Gwendolyn better as a first name, though

What are your top suggestions from this poll?
posted by guest :: 7 years ago | report
I have to say that Winny sounds just perfect with your boys’ names. Both Winifred and Gwendolyn are wonderful names so I think you couldn’t go wrong with either!
posted by guest :: 7 years ago | report
Right now our top 2/3 are Penelope "Nelly/Penny" and Gwendolyn/Winifred "Winny/Winnie". We also like Genevieve "Evy/Evie" as well as Annora "Nory/Norie" but think we like the other 2 better
posted by Poster :: 7 years ago | report
I think Annora is too close to Antonio. My favorites of your top four are Winny and Nelly.
posted by guest :: 7 years ago | report
Thank you for pointing that out! We didn’t even make the connection of the same letters or closeness! This is what happens when you have 3 little boys and are pregnant haha!
