help vs. please
My husband and I are trying to honor our mothers with our baby girls name. My mothers name is Eileen, and his mother is Margie, not a nickname for anything, that is her name. We came up with Marlee. Either for a first name or middle name. Is this a good girls name? Any other combos you can come up with? We want something that is not old sounding or boring. Thanks!

Marlee is adorable! I think the following combos would be darling:

Good luck!

It has to be Marlee though, the Mar for Margie, and the Lee for Eileen. Do you like that spelling?

I hate Marley. What about minute Marlene? Its a closer combo of both names. Balancing it with a trendier or more modern fn would be nice
Harper Marlene
Taylor Marlene
Sofia Marlene
Campbell Marlene
Sheridan Marlene
Violet Marlene

Ella Margaret or Elaina Margaret would be great....both version of the two names, but she’d have her own name! What do you think?

I agree, Ella Margaret is gorgeous and a great way to honor your mom and your husband’s mom but giving your little girl a name of her own. I love that! Do you?

I agree that Marlee might not age well. And I know a dog named Marley, so that’s what I think of when I hear the name. I love Ella Margaret! Really nice!
