Kai vs. girl vs. boy????
My sister has always wanted to name her first daughter Kai, but she’s having a boy and she plans naming HIM Kai. Is this a new fad? Naming boys Kai? I’ve never heard of a boy named Kai and I don’t want my nephew teased because he has a girl’s name!

Kai is a boys name. I originally heard of it on a cartoon series that ran a few years ago. I never heard of it to be a girls name.

Kai is a boy’s name! I used to take care of the cutest little boy named Kai...I’ve actually never heard of Kai being used for a girl.

Kai is popular for boys its #254 in the top names of 2007. For girls Kaia/Kya is pretty popular as well. I think Kai is more masculine but it could go either way really...

I think Kai is definately a boys name. I love it. I know 3 boys named Kai. I have heard of 1 girl named Kai.

Kai is definitely a girls name. Pronounced Kah-ee. I think its the same for a boy?
