Twin girl vs. Name help

Hi my husband and I are having twin girls and are having trouble deciding names. I love the name Addelyn. I also like Madelyn and Madison but I feel like Madelyn and Addelyn are too similar but I also have a cousin named Madison but she’s more of like a sister to me. I also have a cousin named Alexandra but I’m not into naming my daughter or future daughters that do not sure if there would be jealousy there. Please help any advice is greatly appreciated. Oh and also I’m not too crazy about Addison just Addelyn. Thank you to everyone.

hate the lazy spelling of Addelyn, looks cheap, correct spelling of Adeline is far better. Same goes for Madelyn/Madeline, but they are way to close to use together, and never a good idea to name after close relatives without engendering jealousies

I wouldn’t use both Adeline and Madison/Madeline they will result in similar nicknames Addie and Maddie.

Addelyn is fine with a cousin called Madison, I wouldn’t see a link. So since you love it and it works I think it makes sense for one twin to be called Addelyn. I’m also not wild about the spelling, I prefer Adalynn or Addilyn, but if it’s the one you want then sure. Addelyn and Madelyn is awful, please don’t do that.

Addelyn and Liliana
Addelyn and Mariella
Addelyn and Coraline/Coralie
Addelyn and Aaliyah
Addelyn and Brynlee
Addelyn and Brielle
Addelyn and Emilie
