... Lilith vs. ... Loraine vs. Twin Girls

Another baby was definitely unplanned but we were grateful to be blessed with another pregnancy, then to discover we were doubly blessed was incredibly amazing. We really dislike anything too popular, too modern, too made-up, too "something". Simple yet elegant or pretty and girly is more our style. We love the middle names we’ve chosen but don’t necessarily want Lilith and Loraine to be their first names as we don’t want anything too similar. We want them to have their own identities so no matching first names please. Can you suggest some really pretty, regal and elegant girls names that fit perfectly together. We have a four year old son named Jacob Harrison, a three year old son named Henry Matthew, and a seventeen month old daughter named Abbigal Cynthia.

Abbigal doesn’t equate to Abigail. Is this really how you spell your daughter’s name?

From the sixth comment liking:
Vera and Hazel
Sylvia and Evelyn

I’ve noticed Stella and Hazel being mentioned separately but do they go together at all? Hazel has been mentioned 3 times and Stella 2 times.

Stella and Hazel are beautiful together! They also go great with your other children’s names :)

Abigail is how it is spelt. The double B must have been a typo. Thanks for asking. Definitely only 1 B.

Isn’t Lorraine spelled like this?

I was going to suggest some names but I totally agree that Stella and Hazel are perfect. I think you’ve found your babies names. Stella Loraine and Hazel Lilith would be so pretty and cute and they really flow well with Jacob, Henry and Abigail. And just noticing Henry and Hazel would both start with H but I think the names would stand their own and both have different sounds so it should be fine. Good luck.

We wanted to spell Loraine with one R as that’s the way my grandmother spelt it and she passed away a few weeks ago not long after we found out that both twins were going to be girls. Before passing away she joked about naming one of the girls after her but we weren’t joking. We were going to use her name as a middle name for one of our girls as soon as we found out they were girls. Also on a side note, Lilith is my husband’s sisters name and she has been such an inspiration in his life that we knew her name would fit perfectly as a middle name for our other little girl.
