Day Alexandria/ Day Sebastian vs. Opinions?

I'm about 97% positive that I will be naming my little one Day but I want to hear some outsider opinions on it first before announcing it to my family. I just really love the name it seems so bright and happy and it just feels right for my baby but do you think it work as a first name? I am also considering Sky (Alexandra/Theodore) but I do prefer Day. What do y'all think? Is it cute or too "out there" to work as a first? Thanks.

I think it works better as a nickname for Dayla or Dayton! I have a friend named Dayla and a cousin named Dayton.

I'm not sure abt Day as a name for a boy. I think it's fine for a girl.

How about Dayne or Dayna? My son's name is Dane and as a child we called him Day on occassion.I also had a student whose name was Dayana.
