Sunday May vs. Jane Emily vs. Emily May

Our surname is Calendar. One of us thinks it would be sweet to give our daughter names related to the calendar. The other thinks it would lead to teasing and would be trouble. So - we are putting names from each of us and one compromise name. Help us pick please.

It would be fine if her middle name is May. Middle names don't get used very often outside of the home. But having both her first and middle name from the calender is a bit overboard and honestly kinda tacky to me, no offense. Emily May is gorgeous.

I agree with the first poster. I've always found it sort of odd to use a day of the week as a name and with the last name Calendar it's just way over the top. Jane Emily is gorgeous. Emily May is also nice though and not a super obvious nod to your surname.

I actually love Sunday as a name but not as a first name with your surname being Calender. May is a bit overdone these days from my experience. Would you consider Emily Sunday?

Definitely go with the compromise name, Emily May which is stunning by the way. That way it is an equal plain.

Sunday Calendar = things to do on Sunday. Not a good choice. I don't like May as a middle name with your surname either. Avoid word names altogher when your last name is Calendar.

Jane Emily is my fave and I think it's the best choice.
