thoughts on vs. Barron??
We're expecting our 2nd child, first son, and we really like this name. Yes, I am aware that it this is the President's son's name, that's actually where I heard it! I kind of really really like it! What do you think of this name, politics aside? (or is this name too 'politically charged') We like that it is unique, but not too unique. Our daughter's name is Noemi(3). thanks!

I really dislike title names like Barron, Duke and King. Just seems odd to me and like it could give a kid a superiority complex.

I don't really care about the association, it really just doesn't appeal to me in general. Especially because it is a title. Bear is cute. Barrett isn't my favorite but I like it ok with the nickname Bear :)

The political association would definitely be enough to put me off, but I also don't like the name without it.

I like it. By the time your Barron is in his elementary years we will have a new president and n people will forget about it. There are plenty of Chelsea's,Jenna's, Malia's, &Sasha's out there. If you like it you should use it.

I agree with comment #1. But I don't think it's too political to use it. I prefer Darren and Aaron myself but if you love Barron, it's ok to use.
