I think Harlan is masculine and I can't see it working for a girl. Harley works well for either but not Harlan. GL

This is funny to me, sorry. I'm in my 50's and growing up Harlan was an "old man's name." I like "old man's name(s)" so it's never bothered me. But to think it's now being considered for girls is mind blowing. I'd really like to keep it in the "masculine" column.

There are so many great names for girls already. How about Harlow, like Jean Harlow the Old Hollywood actress and original platinum blonde? Good luck! :0)

I find Harlan and Harley to be very masculine. Harlow, Haven, or Hadley would be better for a girl.
