I think they are trendy. But, they are not too strange or anything, so either would make a fine name. My favorite is Drake. I also like Dane, Blake, and Garrett which are not as trendy but are similar.

I really like both names. Either would be a great choice. I like Drake slightly more.

Drake isn’t trendy at all. I know a Drake who is older so it has been around for a while. Gage is one that is more trendy and hasn’t been around as long, but I think it’s very handsome and masculine. I don’t think either one will go out of style as they aren’t terribly common. Gage is probably more common than Drake.
