Both are family surnames, Larkin is from my husband's side and Larsen from mine. Her nickname will be Lark or Lari lar-ee. Dalaney is my mother's maiden name. :)

I love both names and I think they work better for a girl, especially Larkin. Larkin gmv because I like the nn Lark more than Lari. GL

I love both of these names for a girl! People can be very closed minded on here and are more partial to commonly used names such as Charlotte or Emma etc. If you love these names and they have special meaning to you as well, don't let anyone on here deter you from using them. Larkin Sophia is my favorite and gmv. Good luck!
