What about Jessa?

Jessa, Jessie, Jess, Jesse, Jessika, or just use Jessica anyway since you were using it as a middle name.. GL

I agree with pp. It shouldn’t matter if you are using it as a mn.

if it is for a middle name, there is NOTHING wrong with using Jessica. it’s your COUSIN’S STEP DAUGHTER. i really doubt many people will draw the line between the two. 1st name maybe, but not for a middle name.

I like Jessa, as a first name. Your cousin’s stepdaughter shouldn’t interfere with it, especially since Jessica was only the middle name. I’d definitely keep Jessica as the middle name if you really like it!

I agree with the above posts. I personally think that, if you really want the name Jessica as a middle name, you have every right to do so. First of all, it’s YOUR child and you can name it what you want. Second, this is your cousin’s stepdaughter you’re talking about. No one will probably even recognize the connection. Third, it’s not like you’re taking the first name Jessica...it’s a middle name - not something people usually call her by anyways. Just some things to think about.
